Another report by the World Economic Forum identifies some of the emerging and declining roles in the labor market based on the trends of automation, digitization, and globalization. The report predicts that some of the jobs that will experience a significant decline in demand by 2023 are:

These jobs are also characterized by low levels of complexity, creativity, and human interaction. They can be easily replaced by AI systems that can process data faster, more accurately, and more cheaply than humans. For example, ChatGPT-4 can generate invoices, receipts, reports, and other documents based on a given template or format. It can also handle customer inquiries, bookings, reservations, and transactions through chatbots or voice assistants.

Factors That Determine the Vulnerability of a Job to Automation

Not all jobs are equally susceptible to automation by AI. Some jobs are more resilient than others because they require skills or abilities that are difficult or impossible for machines to emulate. Some of the factors that determine the vulnerability of a job to automation are:
